DR²IVE™ Methodology Facilitation, 140101:  DR²IVE™ Methodology Facilitation is selected by organizations needing a Roadmaps Institute™ Master available to help with all DR²IVE™ Methodology Processes and Phases. Selecting this service provides your organization with a Master who supports your organization only when you need the support.  Cost is variable depending on supply and demand for the expert in your region.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

DESIGN Process "Strategic Planning" Workshop, 140111:  The DESIGN Process Workshop is a eight hour, face-to-face session that focuses on establishing a strategic plan for assessment, registration and/or collaborative engagements as articulated by the SCORE, AUDIT, ROADMAP and ROBUST Processes.   Each of the processes listed require each organization to clearly "Define" their goals, "Explore" their needs, "Select" core competencies, "Identify" resources needed,  create a "Gauge" (schedule) for measuring progress, and "Negotiate" collaboration charters.  The goal is to end the workshop with a clear understanding regarding the roles and responsibilities of each organization in working towards SCORE Process completion and/or the development of Collaborative Roadmaps in the ROADMAP and ROBUST Processes.  A DESIGN Process Workshop is facilitated by a Certified Roadmaps Institute™ Master.  The Workshop requires a minimum of five managers and one upper management champion.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

SCORE Process "Single Chart" Workshop, 140112: The SCORE Process "Single Chart" Workshop is a four hour face-to-face session that focuses on establishing scores and consensus for the attributes in one World-Class Management Chart.  The goal is to end the session with a fully assessed World-Class Management Chart that has a high Chart Confidence Index.  The workshop is led by a Certified Roadmaps Institute™ DRIVER or Master.  The Workshop requires a minimum of five managers that are knowledgeable in the core competency being evaluated.  After the chart has been scored, then a Summary Chart Report is given to the organization.  Report results include the overall Chart Score, Attribute Capability Scores and Project Priority Scores. (Note:  If an organization wishes to score itself on the standard ten charts for a given industry, select the SCORE Process "Management Assessment Program" (MAP).) Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

SCORE Process "Management Assessment Program" (MAP), 140113:  The SCORE Process "Management Assessment Program" is a five day resident (face-to-face) program that focuses on establishing scores and consensus for attributes in ten pre-selected World-Class Management Charts.  The workshop is often called the MAP or Management Assessment Program since the process heavily involves management assessing itself and then identifying the gaps between current state and world-class.  The result is essentially a rough guide or map for improvement.  Detailed "roadmaps" are developed later in the ROADMAP and ROBUST Processes.  The goal is to end the week with a fully assessed Industry DR²IVE™ Model and SCORE Report.  The workshop is led by Certified Roadmaps Institute™ DRIVERs and one Master.  The Workshop may be held at a sponsor's facility.  The Workshop requires a minimum of five managers to assess each chart.  The Workshop is segmented into approximately 10 sessions, each approximately 4 hours in length.  Managers attending may cycle in and out of the sessions so work schedule impact is minimized.  At the end of the week, each organization receives its own SCORE Report.  The SCORE Report provides an overall DR²IVE™ Score, Summary Statistics, Summary Chart Scores, Attribute Capability Scores and Project Priority Scores.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

ROADMAP Process "Enterprise Roadmap" Development Workshop, 140114:  The ROADMAP Process Workshop is a two day face-to-face workshop led by a Certified Roadmaps Institute™ Master that focuses on discovering and leveraging opportunities between internal divisions and business units to collaboratively improve the Enterprise's capabilities.  The workshop follows the ROADMAP Process phases of “Review” the opportunities (4 hours), engage in “Opportunity” discovery (4 hours), “Agree” on rough drafts of project charters (4 hours), “Develop” a rough draft of the resulting roadmap with “Milestones” (4 hours).  Due to the compressed time of the workshop and variable number of organizations in attendance, attendees are encouraged to understand that the phases will require post-workshop completion.  For example, in the “Agree” phase it is reasonable to expect that only one or two charters can be developed by each organization during the four hour period.  In addition, the last two phases of the ROADMAP Process, “Authorize” and “Proceed,” are only addressed in the opening and closing comments at the workshop.  The workshop requires an attendance minimum of three organizations with four or more managers representing each organization.  In addition, each organization must have previously completed the SCORE Process.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

ROBUST Process "Alliance Roadmap" Workshop, 140115:  The ROBUST Process Workshop is a two day face-to-face workshop.  The workshop is led by a Certified Roadmaps Institute™ Master.  The workshop focuses on discovering and leveraging opportunities between alliance (external) organizations to collaboratively improve each organization’s capabilities which, in turn, improve the alliance’s overall competitive capability.  The workshop follows the ROBUST Process phases of “Review” the opportunities (4 hours), engage in “Opportunity” discovery (4 hours), negotiate the development of project charters and “Broker” how the returns will be shared (4 hours), “Unite” the projects through the development of a rough draft Alliance Roadmap (4 hours).  Due to the compressed time of the workshop and variable number of organizations in attendance, attendees are encouraged to understand that the phases will require post-workshop completion.  For example, in the “Broker” phase it is reasonable to expect that only one or two charters can be developed by each organization during the four hour period.  In addition, the last two phases of the ROBUST Process, “Start” and “Track,” are only addressed in the opening and closing comments at the workshop.  The workshop requires an attendance minimum of two organizations with four or more managers representing each organization.  In addition, each organization must have previously completed the SCORE Process.

DESIGN Module "Strategic Planning" Facilitation, 140121:  DESIGN Process Module Facilitation provides organizations with a certified Roadmaps Institute™ Master to help with the online DESIGN Process.  The facilitator helps organizations establish individual and collaborative strategic plans for assessment, registration and/or collaborative engagements as articulated by the SCORE, AUDIT, ROADMAP and ROBUST Processes.   The processes listed require each organization to clearly "Define" their goals, "Explore" their needs, "Select" core competencies, "Identify" resources needed,  create a schedule or "Gauge" for measuring progress, and "Negotiate" Collaboration Charters upfront.  The goal is to end the DESIGN Process with a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities each organization has in working towards SCORE Process completion and/or the development of Collaborative Roadmaps in the ROADMAP and ROBUST Processes.   The online phases require a minimum of five managers and one upper management champion.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

SCORE Module "Single Chart" Facilitation, 140122:  SCORE Module "Single Chart" Facilitation is a face-to-face session that focuses on establishing scores and consensus for the attributes in one World-Class Management Chart.  The module's facilitation is led by a Certified Roadmaps Institute™ DRIVER or Master.  Facilitation of the SCORE Module assumes that the module access has been purchased prior to seeking a facilitator. The facilitation requires a minimum of five managers that are knowledgeable in the core competency being evaluated.  After the chart has been scored, then a Summary Chart Report is given to the organization.  Report results include the overall Chart Score, Attribute Capability Scores and Project Priority Scores.  (NOTE: If an organization wishes to score itself on the standard ten charts for a given industry, select the SCORE Module "Management Assessment Program" (MAP) Facilitation.)  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

SCORE Module "Management Assessment Program" (MAP) Facilitation, 140123:  SCORE Module Facilitation focuses on helping organizations establish scores and consensus for attributes in ten pre-selected World-Class Management Charts.  Assessment using the SCORE Process is alternatively called the MAP or Management Assessment Program, since the process heavily involves management assessing itself and then identifying the gaps between current state and world-class.  The result is essentially a rough plan or very high level MAP for improvement.  Actual detailed roadmaps are developed later in the ROADMAP and ROBUST Processes.  An assumption is that the organization has purchased access to the SCORE Module prior to seeking facilitation.  The goal is to end the module with a fully assessed Industry DR²IVE™ Model and SCORE Report.  Facilitation for the SCORE Module is led by Certified Roadmaps Institute™ DRIVERs and one Master.  Scoring requires a minimum of five managers to review each chart's attribute scores and then work with the facilitator to achieve consensus.  The entire module is facilitated in an asynchronous format online, so work schedule impact for the managers involved is minimized.  At the end of the module, each organization receives its own online SCORE Report.  The SCORE Report provides an overall DR²IVE™ Score, Summary Statistics, Summary Chart Scores, Attribute Capability Scores and Project Priority Scores. Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

ROADMAP Module "Enterprise Roadmap" Development Facilitation, 140124:  ROADMAP Module Facilitation focuses on discovering and leveraging opportunities between internal divisions and business units to collaboratively improve the Enterprise's capabilities.  The two week online workshop is facilitated by a Certified Roadmaps Institute™ Master. Facilitation of the ROADMAP Module assumes that the module access has been purchased prior to seeking a facilitator.  The expectation of hours required by managers over the two weeks is a total of 16 “contact” hours.  The module follows the ROADMAP Process phases of “Review” the opportunities (4 hours), engage in “Opportunity” discovery (4 hours), “Agree” on rough drafts of project charters (4 hours), “Develop” a rough draft of the resulting roadmap with “Milestones” (4 hours). The Roadmaps Institute™ requires an attendance minimum of three organizations with four or more managers representing each organization.  In addition, each organization must have previously completed the SCORE Process.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

ROBUST Module "Alliance Roadmap" Facilitation, 140125:  The ROBUST Module focuses on discovering and leveraging opportunities between collaborative companies and organizations to collaboratively improve the Alliance's capabilities.  To successfully complete the module, facilitation by a certified Roadmaps Institute™ Master or Partner is required.  Facilitation of the ROADMAP Module assumes that the module access has been purchased prior to seeking a facilitator.  The expectation of hours required by managers over the two weeks is a total of 16 “contact” hours.  The workshop follows the ROBUST Process phases of “Review” the opportunities (4 hours), engage in “Opportunity” discovery (4 hours), “Broker” project charter contents and how the returns will be shared (4 hours), “Unite” the projects through the development of a rough draft Alliance Roadmap (4 hours).  Due to the compressed time of the workshop and variable number of organizations in attendance, attendees are encouraged to understand that the phases will require post-workshop completion.  For example, in the “Broker” phase it is reasonable to expect that only one or two draft charters can be developed by each organization during the four hour period.  In addition, the last two phases of the ROBUST Process, “Start” and “Track,” happen only after Alliance Roadmaps have been developed and fully approved.  The Roadmaps Institute™ requires an attendance minimum of two organizations with four or more managers representing each organization.  In addition, each organization must have previously completed the SCORE Process.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

Full Text Chart Report Development, 140201:  The Chart Report, which is more accurately called a Core Competency Report, usually contains the following sections:  Executive Summary, Chart Score (with color coded chart), High Priority Projects, Future Projects, Current Capabilities, Emerging Capabilities, and Conclusions.  A Chart Report is focused on only one World-Class Management Step Chart.  The Chart Report requires that a chart be fully scored through the SCORE Process before the report can be developed.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

Full Text SCORE Report Development, 140202:  The SCORE Report combines all Chart Reports for your organization into a cohesive whole, complete with front and back matter.  Front matter consists of the following sections:  DR²IVE™ Summary, DR²IVE™ Score and Navigation Wheel, Highest Priority Opportunities and the Annual Improvement Goals.  Back matter consists of appendices and an index of key terms.  The body of the SCORE Report should have already been written as Chart Reports.  The Master will simply insert the Chart Reports in as chapters to the SCORE Report.  Note that the SCORE report is written for one organization, not multiple divisions or multiple companies.  To compare organizations, the ROADMAP Process Opportunities Report for Enterprises and ROBUST Process Opportunities Report for Alliances are needed.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

ROADMAP Process Opportunities Report, 140211:  The ROADMAP Process Opportunities Report identifies opportunities available to the Enterprise through comparison of Chart Reports (and SCORE Reports if available) between the organizations.  The intent of the report is to either "lay the groundwork" for the ROADMAP Process or provide management with details regarding opportunities without committing to the ROADMAP Process.  Opportunities between organizations are discovered when one organization has a high capability attribute score and another organization in the Enterprise has a high project priority score.  The organization with the high capability can then help the organization with the project need.  The ROADMAP Process Opportunities Report requires prior completion of Chart Reports (preferably captured within a SCORE Report) for each organization included in the report.  The price charged to develop the report is dependent upon the time required by the Master.  The time required is directly related to the number of charts compared.  Organizations seeking the report may or may not later move on to participation in the ROADMAP Process. Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

ROBUST Process Opportunities Report, 140212:  The ROBUST Process Opportunities Report combines and identifies opportunities available to the Alliance through comparison of Chart Reports (and MAP Reports if available) between the organizations.  Opportunities between organizations are discovered when one organization has a high capability attribute score and another organization in the Alliance has a high project priority score.  The organization with the high capability can then help the organization with the project need.  The Alliance Opportunities Report requires prior completion of Chart Reports (preferably captured within a MAP Report) for each organization included in the report.  The price charged to develop the report is dependent upon the time required by the Master.  The time required is directly related to the number of charts compared and whether the organizations have participated in either the online ROBUST Process or Alliance Opportunities Workshop.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

Regional Comparison Report, 140213:  The Regional Comparison Report is available only to registered organizations.  To become registered, an organization hires a third party Registrar to verify and validate the SCORE Report of the organization.  Once completed, the organization will have fundamental access to their region's summary data, but not in a report format that specifically addresses their organization in comparison to organizations in their region.    The Regional Comparison Report addresses this need.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

Peer Comparison Report, 140221:  The Peer Comparison Report is available only to registered organizations.  To become registered, an organization follows the AUDIT Process and hires a third party Registrar to verify and validate the SCORE Report of the organization.  With the Peer Comparison Report, the organization will have access to see blind summary data for their peers as long as five or more peers have registered.   "Blind" data means that you will never see actual organization names, granular attribute data, or even step data.  Chart data and DR²IVE™ Score data will be revealed so your organization can gauge its lag and lead within specific core competency areas.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

Industry Comparison Report, 140222:  The Industry Comparison Report is available only to registered organizations.  To become registered, an organization hires a third party Registrar to verify and validate the SCORE Report of the organization.  With the Industry Comparison Report, an organization will have access to their industry's summary data so the lag and lead on specific core competency charts can be identified.  Place this item in your shopping cart to be contacted for a customized proposal appropriate for your organization.

AUDIT Module Registrar Facilitation with Registration, 140412:  The AUDIT Process is selected by organizations that wish to register their Unofficial SCORE Report results with the Roadmaps Institute™.  Once revisions to the Unofficial SCORE Report are made and the revised report is registered, the revised report is classified as the Official SCORE Report. Facilitation

All Roadmaps Expertise Services require facilitation by professionals trained and educated to guide your organization towards its objectives.  Facilitation is provided by three different groups: Third Party Affiliate Companies, Roadmaps Institute™ Staff, and Approved Subject Matter Experts.  The type of service generally dictates the category of professional that your organization will need.  Descriptions of the facilitator categories or groups are given as follows:

  • Third Party Affiliate Companies:  Third Party Affiliate Companies assist your organization in all five DR²IVE™ Processes, as well as consulting services for industry segments and core competencies.  In particular, a Third Party Affiliate Company is preferred for performing Registrar services in the AUDIT Process.  Third Party Affiliate Companies are staffed with Roadmaps Institute™ Certified Partners (RIPC).  RIPCs have attained the highest level of certification at the Roadmaps Institute™.  As a result, RIPCs are capable of serving as Facilitators, Registrars and Consultants.
  • Roadmaps Institute™ Staff:  Roadmaps Institute™ Staff are available to assist organizations in their implementation of DR²IVE™.  Services provided cover all five DR²IVE™ Processes and may be delivered either on location or online.  Among the services are: corporate programs, interactive workshops, software guidance, report development and registration using the AUDIT Process.   Gradually, Third Party Affiliate Companies will eliminate the need for acquiring Expertise Services directly from the Roadmaps Institute™.
  • Approved Subject Matter Experts: Subject Matter Experts (SME) are specialists in a specific area or field.  For example, the Roadmaps Institute™ provides access to several SMEs that are experts in Total Cost of Ownership.   Depending on your organization’s needs, a professor from a nearby university or an industry expert would be recommended.  SMEs are particularly useful in facilitating the development of strategic and operational plans for DR²IVE™ Industry Segments and closing the gaps in the World-Class Management Step Charts.  Perhaps your organization needs an expert in Aerospace Industry Management?  The Roadmaps Institute can offer a cadre of the world’s finest.
